Essay Three: The Environment

Third Story Thesis: Unhealthy contemporary consumption habits such as buying mass amounts of cheap new clothes then proceeding not to wear them and throw them out, or buying a fridge load of food only not to eat it and have to throw it out after it goes bad, are slowly destroying the environment, and as the situation gets worse then the solutions may also have to become more extreme.

Honestly this was the most challenging paper that I wrote this semester, especially because I often have obscure opinions as compared to other people, meaning that usually what I am writing about or what I interpret as somebody telling me to write about is probably much more different than what everybody else is writing about or even what I was told to write about. It was also very challenging because my partner Whit and I both had the flu when the essay memo was drafted. This, paired with my utter incomprehension of what people tell me to write about, ultimately led to a disaster of a group essay, but thankfully my group partners eventually saw this, and the people who wrote the memo decided to step in and save the essay.
